I have a 2000 model 24ft Princecraft with 25" dual tubes.  I bought this with a 20" 115 Johnson on it. Runs great & planes fine but when people are in the front, it ventilates.  RPMs increase, boat  slows down.  I put a CMC Hydraulic Jack Plate on which allowed me to lower the motor up to 5".  This solved the ventilation problem.  But, the jack plate is wider than the transom and catches water and funnels it up onto the back boat deck.  I am proposing either of the two mods drawn on the pics below, by wrapping the existing transom with aluminum plate to divert the water.
I have a shop & can MIG aluminum.  Need some suggestions or alternative mods.  Thanks

I

i agree curtiscpak, with that said if i where to do that i would use 2nd one. i think it would push less water. also the smaller area you can use lighter material. and not have to remove or modify fins under top of transom
