I bought a project pontoon last fall and am ready to pull it home, about 200 miles.
How do I secure the boat to the trailer? It seems to me that it is just sitting on the trailer, with the winch hooked to the deck. I am clueless about this aspect. Thanks for the help. |

The front has the strap to a ubolt going through a cross member and a safety cable, strap the rear of the toons down

Thanks. My trailer is different than yours. The pontoons are unsupported, while the deck rests on the frame of the trailer. This isn't a great pic, but it gives an idea of what I have. ![]() The toons aren't that low. It had a flat tire. Edited by Tomhusker - 03/18/2017 at 4:25am |
