This is interesting, giving the formulas calculation of capacities for pontoon boats (not that I can understand it, of course).

I just used the formula of HP= Volume of pontoons(cubic feet) X Longest pontoon lenght(feet) divided by pontoon diameter(inches) I come up with 137.7. My tag that I got from the dealer as a replacement says it"s good for 130 hp. Fairly close on mine.

Been busy this week!  Got my Classic Furniture installed, Deluxe Console on, gates done and on, and a few other odds & ends.  Last major project is to build a rear deck, then wire & lights.  STILL waiting on my die cuts for the sides

Looking great Ty, you"re much further along that I realized!  Good luck with that sundeck (and glad to see that you have a good seat at the console for the Captain!)

Ty, it turned out great!  I see you added the sundeck and the porta potty curtain. Did you make the engine cover and fuel tank cover one piece or two?  We"re all looking forward to your next project now!

Thanks, every one, for the kind words.  I wish I would have gotten to it sooner, as I had really hoped to sell this boat before I started on another.  But I ran it on ebay and C/L and didn"t get any serious bites so it"s lookiing like it will be shrink wrapped and stored for the winter.    On to the next project!

The boat selling season is far from over, at least around these parts. Since a lot of people have heard they are cheaper in the off season they start looking about now, so don"t give up on selling it too soon. That doesn"t mean you have to sell it cheaper, just that some people don"t look until the off season.

I haven"t givin up, I just won"t push it to hard.  Rick, I am in the "design" phase of my "Keeper" right now.  My first toon I kept for 8 years, so I just want to build the exact boat I know I will be happy with for quite some time
