Anyone ever put casters on the seat base instead of fastening to deck?  If I decide to do so, what are thoughts about reinforcing the base corners where the casters will be installed?  
I have an 18' Bass Buggy that is almost done.  Only seats going back in are 4 flip flops - one at helm, one at rear starboard corner with live well in base, the other two may be on casters.  The intent is to create a true fishing pontoon.

if its the plastic base I would put some plywood inside the four corners then put the casters on. Locks on the wheels would be helpful.

Yes, plastic base.  I'm thinking plywood inside and out.  A piece of 3/4" plywood on each side and  quality lockable casters.  It will add about 6" to the seating height of the seat.  Need to put about (4) 2x4 under the seat to see if I can live with the added height before buying the casters.
