recently acquired an old 1987 sylvan double deck pontoon to play with.  it has a similar year johnson 90 hp 2 stroke that is not the healthiest, but still has some life left in it.  the prop that is on it only has the stamped numbers h10 and 6.  it is chipped up and has had a tough life.  when riding with it i can feel some prop slip at times.  i marked the prop to make sure it was not spinning.   my question is what replacement prop size should i look for?   I am thinking something in the 11 pitch as i am much more concerned with decreasing prop slip/cavitation than i am with speed.  since the engine is not the strongest, i have no plans on running at wot-----just want to slowly cruise around in it.   thanks for all suggestions!

I have a large 28 foot pontoon boat that had a Johnson 90 on it. I 13 spline 13 1/2 diameter 11 pitch prop from Michigan wheel is what I used. It worked great. unfortunately that motor had a ring break after I had it running well for a couple seasons. It is waiting for me to take it apart for pieces to sell and to use the Pistons in another motor.
If you would be interested in a nearly new shop for that motor I would be interested in selling it. My phone number is 314-369-6375. I am in western New York. I could send you some pictures and the specific model number if you like
