the coating is a non-skid so I am planning on glueing the carpet on top of the coating then maybe adding some screws to the bottom side edge to hold in place just in case. Carpet I have is here. Here are some more progress pics. Was able to add/redo steps using good scrap from old frame. Let me know what you think.

that trailer looks really nice. Is it easy to get a title for a homemade trailer.

ok guys, needing some input. Will be getting 1 of the consoles sold here on pontoonstuff, looking to get some pics/ideas of the setups you guys have. I have a top mount throttle control. Also looking to find these little suckers but cant seem to find any anywhere. Any ideas on what to do? Grind off to match, Remove and do without, or custom new ones to replace?? Just this one side is broke. Pls ignore my crud that is also in picture.

Oh wow... good luck finding those!

I would avoid just grinding them off and "doing without".  I really don't like having just the tips of the logs sticking out from the front of the deck.  Trackers do that a lot, and it seems like every older Tracker that you see has the tips of the nosecones either broken off and leaking, or bent back at some bizarre angle.

Personally I'd probably fabricate some kind of new protector for the bow of the boat.  I did a full deck extension for mine, which serves as an anchor platform (very handy).  But that's probably getting carried away.

those look custom. They may have been done by a previous owner.

All the bunk arms were bent when I bought this rig and apparently guessing on the correct bunk angle did not work. Who woulda thought that. Can someone get this dumb owner pointed in the right direction.

Pic 1 - Very tight gauge layout, shortened screws on back to get to sit flush.

Pic 2 - Flooring went well. This lowe boat had a section up front that was wider than 4' so we had tocut 2 48"x56". But was able to use scraps for the stern area. I still consider this a poor design.

Pic 3 & 4 - We used WAY too little glue. Brother and uncle were on glue duty and got concerned aboutnot having enough glue. Me and my dad were on carpet duty and didnt realize they only usedone gallon of glue until we were rolling.

Pic 5 & 6 - Fencing and furniture on and steering/throttle connected.

Pic 7 - transom fixed, transom board replaced with 2 1" phenolic boards(was a PAIN to cut). Added a brace for transom(2 1/2" aluminum square tubing 1/4" thick. Probably overkill but after seeing damaged caused by previous owner, im not going down that road. Hindsight, installed too close to the engine, having some clearance issues raising it all the way up. Will fix by either raising engine(may have issues with that) or cutting/trimming middle of brace off.

Pic 8 & 9 - Biminis on and lake ready.....i was hoping.

Pic 9a - Not shown......I did all this and forgot about tires. Rookie move. 425 bucks later new wheels and tires. #brokeasajoke

Pic 10-13 - me and my wife. she was glad to finally feel like something was achieved from this. Nephew and Daughter taking a picture with grandpa on the maiden voyage. Me, my brother, and grandpa going over some issues at FoT. Daughter and cousins getting wet. All in all it was a great trip.
