Got all my wires pulled from the rear section. Plus a couple extra for future if needed. The 1 1/2" tubing was just barely big enough to get all the wires through. I got this nifty shrink wrap labeler to mark all the wires.

Dave,
Glad that your conduit was big enough.  I had serious doubts.

I too like that labeler.  I think I'm gonna have to invest in one also.

Looks Great!!!!

Took some doing but I found one of those labeler's for 81.37 (includes shipping) as some didn't have them in stock (found one for 56.89 free shipping IF they had one), next one was considered special order so additional 4-6 weeks (so means NOT in stock until China makes it LOL) so 3rd times a charm, now I got it ordered.

Don't get the 1/4" shrink wrap. Its to small.maybe ok for 20 ga or smaller. 1/2" is good for 14 ga. I haven't tried the 3/4.

Dave,

Does that labeler make shrink tubes (applied before the connectors) or labels that wrap around the wire and can be applied after the connectors are on?

Now I found out why the 3000 unit was a little hard to find in stock, Dyno replaced it with the 4200 unit. And wouldn't you know it, I could have got that unit cheaper from here

I got the carbon fiber lower dash panel cut out today. I'll be using a Teleflax Hydraulic tilt helm, space for 24 switches and a Clarion remote Radio head.

I know I'm a little DENSE ( I DID say that didn't I) LOL at times but am I to understand this will print on heat shrink tube BEFORE you install it on the wire? Ermm  If that "IS" the case I am going to get one of them myself.  Let me know where you got yours from Charles & I'll order one today. I get all my heat shrink tubing at the electrical supply house wholesale.

What did you use to cut the carbon fiber? I've not worked with it before but I'm told it takes a specail cutter to make a clean cut. Is that true?

Its a special heat shrink tube made for the printer. It prints on it before installation.

You can use a die grinder and cut off wheel.

Once you get past the "float" just above the "arena" it should all be downhill from there. Hope you got plenty of marking tape to get it all labeled. Clap

I got the hydraulic helm installed minus the hoses. Also mounted the switches in the carbon fiber dash panel. panel not mounted to the captain station yet so it looks a little crooked. I got all the proper screened switch caps which look way cool but still waiting for a couple caps and switches.

With that many switches they will look like a Christmas tree at night time. Clap Gonna be a busy person looking after all of them. LOL  I must admit that is a really sharp looking console. Nice job of installing everything.

Got a little bit more done this weekend. I installed the fuel fill and vent, the fresh water fill and vent, 2 horns, docking lights, nav.lights and the rigging tube. All my oil hoses, battery cables. throttle and shift cables, fuel line, and electrical wires will run through the rigging tube into the motor for a nice clean look.
