TIP ALERT: I got my carpet from PS and as most carpet you order it is a little over cut, you get a few inches extra. I debated perfectly lining up two of the four sides so I only had to trim two left. I chose to just center and have overhang on all 4 sides. Best choice for sure with a fresh blade I trimmed off the excess in about 4 minutes. Now on to installing side trim.

Ice went out Monday they came and installed my new pier I bought in December to save 15%. They installed me as the first one of the year, my lake was the first to open, a lot still iced over. Shallower lakes are the first to go.
I also stapled the carpet around the edges before I put on trim. Actually I stapled as soon as I laid it down. |

Over the last 3 days I've gotten my interior, still short two items in the order, a light for the Bimini top and a 38" base. they will arrive shortly. I assembled the furniture but have not yet attached them to floor. I need to get holes drilled for the speakers and finish painting the Captains Console, then place it before if lock down the seating.
here are a few pictures of the seats |

I have two arm rests at the end of a section of seats, not butted against a railing. I put two bolts through the floor, but that dosent even come close to making them solid. Any suggestions. I was thinking about drilling through the armrest and the seat base next to it and securing with a bolt. An other ideas would be appreciated

The arm rest on my toon is screwed to the back rest of the seat next to it. Seemed to work really well as I couldn't get them apart while tearing apart the pontoon before the face lift I am working on.

Inside the arm rest are plastic supports...I drilled through those and put a 4 inch by 4 inch alum plates (1/4 inch thick), then bolted with stainless hardware....this really firmed them up....Hope this helps, I had this exact issue on my rebuild! Hope you enjoy you new toon, looks great and nice job!!

Thanks fatdaddy, I did the way you suggested except I used a 4"x8" treated 1/2 " plywood and washers to spread the tension, I also dropped two bolts thru the floor. It's better now

Well done now with the wiring, this afternoon. Only thing left is to install stereo, then pull it out of the garage to install the Bimini Top, gas it up and take it to the launch.

I too love the console....coolest I've seen in long time...best thing is you can sit at least 12 to 14 people, which on my toon does not happen very often, but sometimes it's elbow room only...LOL....awsome job an I love the speakers...What brand?....again love the boat and great timing, as prime time lake life has begun!!!!

Assume job like what you done with her, we've pick the same furniture color wise that is. Got some armrest to attach as well. If you had some close-up pictures of at least the finish attachment could either post or message me with them if you aren't busy at the lake with yours already. Today I am looking to get carpet and railings done and begin furniture setting.
