Where should the cavitation plate be in relation to the boat?  Waterline, bottom of the of toons, even with the bottom of the transom tunnel, etc.?

Mine is about 4-5” below the transom tunnel and t about 75% throttle I get blowout/ ventilation.  But the cav plate looks like it runs where it needs to (surfing the top).

Don’t know if my motor is too high or too low, or if my prop hub is slipping...
