Thanks for all the kind words, went out on Saturday and put it in the water for the first time. Ran good. A little rough idle that I will need to work on and it would not go up on plane. I could not get enough speed. The speedo said about 20 MPH which would be plenty fast if accurate. Going to get the GPS out and see for sure on the speed. The tack did not work at all. one other thing to work on. ran into a little problem with the top should be done tomorrow. Looking forward to getting out and running good. I will post more pics this weekend after I get it back from the upholstery shop.

has the tach ever worked???  Pour in the seafoam in your tanks a couple of times and let it go through the system to help clean those jets out. I've never known a pontoon to get up on plane without strakes and a big motor, but if you trim the motor, that should level it out. But you gotta have the tach working so you'll know you trimmed out too far (lost of speed and higher rpm). Did the tach ever work??? I see you handled the rat's nest of wires, but that tach wire should be in the harness coming from the engine to the controls and a pigtail comes off of it. For a 2 stroke yammy its the green wire for the tach (gray if a 4 stroke) according to the color codes in the link. Yep, don't trust any speedo, always the GPS

I do not think it ever worked the way they had it wired. Spent a little time under the helm yesterday checking voltage move a couple wires to the correct location(and used the green wire) and Walla it works.Clap

The corner lights are visable. it is the camera angle. They have a gasket under them just a smidge smaller than the corner piece. I will take some more pics this weekend when we get it on the water and everything is up.

A couple last pictures as I get ready for a fishing trip to lake powell.

Boat back from shop for final time and full bimoni up.

First run into the water letting the moter run in the water brfore taking off the tralier. We went out for about 3 hours and had a fun ride. Clap

This is a tent that is built for the back of a chevy truck but does not fit my new truck style bed. It works on the boat not perfect but will keep the rain off.

And last but no least or dog dakota

Looks like Dakota gives his seal of approval with the tongue hanging out looking happy Thumbs Up  So is your rebuild officially done - or you're like me, and still have some plans for more improvements.
