Got my stainless steel wheel mounted last week and I really like it.  It makes it alot easier to steer.  Wife and I are going to go out for the day Monday; just the 2 of us.  No kids, no grandkids or sons-in-law.

Thanks folks.  We are really pleased with the way everything turned out.  Ruth and I took a day trip to a small lake up north of us yesterday and had a great time just cruizing around the lake site seeing and swimming when it got too hot.

Ok, so now the quest is done, time for a new quest like you organizing a get-together in your area . Go out and recruit young man, spread the word of the mighty place called PontoonStuff forum, heal those with bad floors and rotten furniture - show them the LIGHT  (I got it going on this morning don"t I) . Feel great after that Carlyle Get-Together

As they say around these parts: "You"re full of it!"

I almost feel lost with nothing to do.  Now I don"t have any excuses regarding my  HONEY-DO"S

I looked all the way through his rebuild and never saw him mention prefab. There is one company that makes prefab sundecks, but its ONLY for their fences they build, so its considered custom sundecking. You won"t find prefab sundecks for pontoon boats, but PontoonStuff along with Wise are researching that issue now. But so far, nobody has responded to the inquiry here PontoonStuff needs data about Sundecks. So far, everyone has re-upholstered their sundeck or custom made their own.

B2Math: I built my own.  My gas tank and battery/storage areas were covered with hinged tops; there was nothing over the motor pod area.  The sundeck I built covers the whole area and is aproximately 92 inches long by 30 inches wide.  I used exterior 3/4 inch plywood and carpeted it with the left overs from my new carpet.  Here"s a picture:

KenC, you just gave me an idea what I"ll use my old rails for after seeing that piece on the back of your sundeck (again).

Thanks BBDAWG.  I appreciate the kind words.  Actually, we will be spending more time on the water.  We bought a small place at the lake last week.
