Crowley must ship UPS where Boats.net uses 1st class USPS.  Cancelling Crowley and ordered it from Boats.net for $4.11 shipped.    Thanks guys.

Think I"ll fix me Margarita and calm down and then look at it tomorrow.

Also try to get some pics to update what"s what with my progress.

I walked away alright; just back from Palm Coast Florida for 10-day vacation Tuesday afternoon.  Was great.

That said; got the ignition problem squared away yesterday..... 20 amp fuse at the motor.   DUHHH     Looks like I"ll be able to get it in the water this weekend.     Will get some pics.

The only thing that"s still giving me a problem is the tach.  I hooked it up the same way that the old one was wired, but it won"t work.  It won"t keep me off the lake this weekend, but I sure would like to get it working.

and you got it set to the same setting as the old one? 6P or 4P (think a 90 merc is 6P), Rick should or probably does know what the setting is for it (did you not get any paperwork for it?) Look at the back of your old one and see if the new one doesn"t have the same setting

6P it is. Make sure you have power (12 Volts on the "I" terminal) and a good ground to the "G" terminal. Just in case:

Gray wire to "S" terminal

Purple wire to "I" terminal

Black wire to "G" terminal

I have it set at 6p.  I have 3 purple wires going to the ignition switch.  2 are tied together and 1 to the choke (c).  I"ll recheck my connections.

Looks like I"ll not be getting it in the water this weekend after all.  Still having issues with the motor not starting

Haven"t had the time to recheck my tach wiring either.  I think I got some of Captain"s bad luck going on here

Everytime I went out with the old seats i would lose a cup holder. My old seats all had vents in them and the wind from the highway would blow them out.

They can suggest it to the manfacturer, but it"s up to the manufacturer and I can"t think of a time where they ever glued them in. On my old furniture I glued mine in. I know on the brand new deluxe consoles, they got those babies in really tight, but its the only console they now do themselves (without anything cut out on it), so they put the dash in themselves and the cupholders. The cupholders aren"t glued in, but they got something around them that when pushed into place, it really grips. The other consoles they don"t see, as they are shipped direct (except for the showroom models). Send an email to PontoonStuff, as they won"t know until you guys call or email about problems, just saying it in here won"t let them be aware as they seldom look. So pop an email with a good subject line (it takes a while to get distributed to the right people)

I"m a little bit disappointed.....Annette emailed me back about the cup holder.  She said that they sell for $3.25 and $9.99 for shipping.  As it needs to match, color-wise, the others I guess I"ll have to pay the price.  My old cup holders are a darker, almost gray color.

So this wasn"t on a new console or seat cup holder?

Yes, it was on my new console.   I just assumed that they would comp me one after what I"ve spent on everything else.

It was the first part of March, Charles. I have a couple of white ones laying around I"d be happy to send you for nothing Ken, but it doesn"t sound like they would match the color you need. I"m a little surprised they wouldn"t send you one, as there customer service is second to none..

Early March is when I bought it.  I appreciate the offer Rick, but mine are a light beige color and at this stage I really want it to match the others.  I"ll just buy one if they don"t make good on it.  It"s not that big a deal, it"s just the idea that it"s brand new and the first time I take it down the road, I lose a cup holder.  The manufacturer should make it good to PS and they really need to reconsider how they mount them in the future.

I"m glad you got the package Charles.  Hope it"s what you needed.  And thanks for the input to PS.  We"ll see what happens.  I bet they make it right.    They"re just that kind of people.

Beige ehhh, wasn"t aware they had that color, thought all they had was white (or cream), black and stainless look. But I see now why Annette might have given that answer as its past the 30 day thing. Well after checking I see they only have tan and whilte http://www.pontoonstuff.com/pontoon-boat/195-boat-cup-holder .asp.

You can make them light up yourself with a small led in the bottom of the cup or in the lip, depends on your style

Thanks guys.  I"m really pleased with the way it turned out.  It"s been a long 4 months getting to this point.  The only things I have left to do is the minor stuff.  Things that won"t keep me off the water.  I'll try to get some pics this weekend on the water.

Charles, stick a fork in it, I do believe it"s DONE !!
