I am going to need to change the throttle control box from mounting on the right to mounting on the left.  Originally the box was mounted on a box bolted to the railing, I want to mount it to the right side of the console.

As you can see, the shift level is on the left and I will need it on the right.

Is that possible?  What does it take to make that change?

I have the same box and went throught the same thing you are. Guy at a local shop told me you can switch the lever and kill switch on the other side of the box. I moved the lever but eliminated the kill switch on mine since th previous owner had disabled it anyway. Cant figure out how to do the pics from my iPad or I would upload them.

It may be as easy as removing lever bolt, pulling shaft and putting on through other side....I may not be following exactly what you are wanting to do....why not just allow a little more space between rail and helm? Inside is a neutral safety switch which may not work properly if switched from otherside!
