Took my wife and twin girls crappie fishing Friday night...we ended up with close to 50 with a few cats and 1 striper in the mix.....I never got to wet a line because I was too busy taking off fish and tying on new hooks!! We caught all these at West Point Lake in about 2 hours on bamboo structure I put out a few years ago!!

ended up with a gallon of filets...electric filet knife makes quick work of them, took about an hour to clean them all!!

 That is a bunch of great eatin fish! Should be enough fillets for 3 meals or so, depending on how hungry everyone is. Yeah, I remember when my daughters were young, and I took them crappie fishing, you don't get to fish just remove the fish, bait them up, and tie on new hooks! LOL I bet everyone had a blast - Good Job! Smile

Thanks guys...My girls are 21 and still come to lake everytime we go...I  dont't ever remember wanting to be with my mom and dad when I was 21...LOL....but these girls love the lake and to fish....one of the girls dates the head of the UGA fishing team and she always out fishes him...got to love that!!
