Decades ago, my uncle (father's brother) bought my grandfather's 1987 Bass Buggy. (this was not his father's boat, but my mother's father's boat)
He had it and used it for many years. Then, around the turn of the century, his company transferred him about 500 miles away, and the boat sat outside on his property here and deteriorated. After retiring and moving back, he decided to get rid of it and asked me if I'd like (free and clear, no charge) it since it had been my grandfather's boat. I took him up on it, and now it's my new project, so I thought I'd document my progress here. Here it is, as it currently sits on his property. It definitely needs a lot of work, but it seems structurally sound, and I don't think it will be too tall an order to get it whipped into shape over the next few months. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Edited by BradinBama - 01/20/2021 at 2:03am |
