Here are some pictures from when we were on vacation last week.

We had a great time fishing, and everyone caught fish. We had enough bass on the second day to have our fish fry, and after that we started to release all the fish that were caught. We didn't catch anything big, but had a great time fishing. The locals were telling us that they had received 10" of rain the week before, so that may have slowed the fishing some.

Looks like everyone had a good time!  Tough to beat family time on the water and fish just add a bonus!
Yes, Iowa got hammered with rain in some spots, like 6 inches one morning last week in southwest Iowa.

We were around an hour and a half north of the twin cities, but I didn't realize that they had received that much rain. The rivers were still pretty high around there with debris floating down. When we got home I see the rain gauge had 5 1/2" in it, and it rain hard most of that day, so we may have had around 6" or more also.

Wow, I can't believe no one has posted any pictures of their pontoon fishing outings, since my post a year ago.
I will be posting some pics of our upcoming fishing trip soon!
