I did some fishing last week while visiting my daughter on Martha's Vineyard. Here are some pictures I thought I would share with you. I haven't fished saltwater before so it was new to me. We caught Sea Bass, Scup, Blue Fish, Sand Shark, (which they call dogfish) and some other fish that crawls along the bottom. It reminds me of our mud puppies only larger.

Sea bass on the upper hook and scup on the lower hook. I had alot of doubles, and it was non stop action from beginning to end.

This is one of the sea bass I kept, and we kept a cooler full of fish.

This is the sand shark I caught, which they call dogfish. Looks much different that our freshwater dogfish, which is a rough fish. These don't have the sharp teeth like the bigger sharks they are more like the teeth of a bass.

This winged warrior is a bottom feeder that reminds me of our freshwater mud puppies. I don't remember the name they had for it. I caught a couple three of them.
That evening we grilled some bass, scup, and bluefish, and they were all very tastey! Great Time!

Do any of you saltwater fisherman know the name of the small bottom feeder fish in the last picture?
