Got some goodies from the the local South Bay dealer. I ordered through them since the cutouts were already done on the fencing and I wanted the OEM fit. don't mind the dog

You can see the cutouts already done here

Are you aware if he has any more? I'd like to get one preloaded with the gauges and steering wheel/column like that.

Unfortunately, he doesn't have any more of these. The only other consoles he had were the kind that pontoonstuff.com sells. He said he doesn't come across these too often. If I do hear of something, I'll let you know though.

FYI, there are a decent amount of consoles on Ebay that have gauges and such already on them.

Good luck!

Nothing wrong with more pictures right? The console cleaned up really well with just some cleaner

You can see on the front view a few squares of vinyl. These are the samples for our furniture colors.
The 3 on the left are the color combo were going with. French Vanilla, Brownish, Black

Can anyone identify what type of gauges these are? I checked and the only numbers I can find on them don't show anything. I wouldn't think that the manufacturer of the console would make their own.

Are you basing that on the "CE" logo by the numbers? I think that is a marking indicating that the gauges are EU (European Union) compliant.

I don't see any gauges on CE's site.

Those look like Premier Pro White gauges from Teleflex, but it's hard to tell for sure.  All gauges pretty much hook up the same unless you have a smart gauge, in which case it needs to be matched to the motor.  Some times manufactures contract with Toon builders to build large lots of gauges for them at a discounted price, which could explain the lack of a brand name.

Thanks. I was curious so I could look up the wiring.

I think i've figure it out to be this

Black: grnd
Blue: backlight
Purple: power
other: sending unit input

That seem to make sense?

I came to this conclusion due to the fact that all 5 of the gauges have a black and blue wire on the plug. All except the speedo (pitot tube) have the purple. Then the tach, trim, and fuel gauge each have a unique wire. Based on my uneducated understanding, this seems to make sense to me.

Yep Wink.  Trim is USUALLY brown, and Tach is USUALLY gray.  Can't seem to remember this late in the day what the fuel might be Confused

Thanks for all the help so far. I have the gauge situation figured out. Now it's just figuring out the rest of the harness. The gauges and switches I'm good on for the most part, but it's figuring where the original plugs went. It's going to be fun trying to merge this harness with the factory OEM harness that came with the chassis of boat from a different manufacturer. I may end up doing some re-wiring.

Thanks everyone for the help. I believe that they are the teleflex gauges, just with a back made specifically for the OEM's wiring harness.

I finally was able to figure out and diagram the factory dash wiring. It all makes sense now  :nana

I think the only wire changing I'm going to need to do is change some of the wiring that connects to my lighting / accessories. The plugs that are currently on there are made for the factory wiring harness. That'd be great, but I have a Sylvan console with a South Bay chassis harness...

If anyone is interested, I can try and post my lousy excel made wiring diagram.

well, it's not much, but I did get the docking lights, horn, and nav lights installed on the paneling. I went out to drop some stuff and couldn't resist doing something while I was there. Although I did forget to get some measurements I was going to get

No pictures, but thought I'd update. This last week we got our new pontoon ladder, fence brace, and bimini light. We also ordered our 1st half of our furniture  :nana . I'll post pictures here once I get the furniture in and take some pictures. The ladder from pontoon stuff seems very sturdy and excellent quality!!!!

Right now I'm looking for motors. I've found an 06 optimax 150 for about 5k. I feel like its a pretty good deal. Anyone have any input on the value? From other motors i've found, I haven't seen anything of this year range for less than 5k. Still talking to the guy to get hours and compression info. I may have a roadtrip in my future to pick it up  :biggrin2
