I am in the process of re carpeting my 2003 Fishin Barge. I need some help in finding a product to take the old carpet adhesive and residue off the aluminum deck. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Mike

I'm doing a re-carpet on my Pontoon and was going to rent a floor sander.  The "renter" said that the old carpet adhesive will gum up the sanding disc or roll very quickly.  He suggest using Zip Strip to remove the worst of the old adhesive before sanding.    Has anybody run into this issue or can offer a tested solution?

Klean Strip...takes some time but it is the easiest way to get the glue of the old deck. Just finished stripping a 20ft pontoon deck with it.
