Hello. I just started a rebuild on the family pontoon. My father and I striped it down to the floor the first day. We made a lot of progress. I have some carpet and a couple of the seats in the mail. Now I'm trying to figure out what I should do with the rails. I started to polish them. Wow that's work. Does any on suggestions?

I didn't go bonkers cleaning the railings, I used a power washer and a power eraser where necessary, with a nice new interior no one even looks at the railing.

Thanks that's a good point. I just had a few ideas of what I what're to do and I am running out of time. We torn off the old plywood and have to screw the new floor down then we should be ready for the carpet.

wow The scotch pads are the ticket. I found a disk that fits the grinder. I might make it in the time frame my wife set on me.

Has any one replaced the rub rails on this style of pontoon. I can't seem to find them?
