Amazing work Tim!  This is a favorite for me among the builds here on the forum.  Could you post maybe some additional pictures of the bar area on the boat?  Maybe some inside photos?  Any idea approximately how much it weighs or any problems with side to side weight distribution?
Thanks!
-Dave

The bar was built using 2x2 framing, with 1/4 inch plywood covering it, the bar weighed 45 lbs without the tops on, the tops weighed in at 25 lbs, but that is all three, the bartops and the table so about 65 lbs total, there is a intersate 29M deep cycle under the bar, an these are very heavy batteries, but I have 3 of the 29M batteries under the bench seat opposite the bar, and NOCO genius 4 bank charger, which is very heavy, I ballanced port to starboard pretty close, I am just hoping I am not to nose heavy, I will see this weekend when i float it, it has 25 inch pontoons, so I dont think it will be a problem, everything I pulled off the boat and took to the dump wieghed in at over 1200 lbs, most of the furniture was eaterlogged wood bases, so I think I should be good, I will teke some pictures of the bars later on, and this weekend will take picturs in the water and post them,Tim

I finally got to float the boat on Sunday, everything worked great, the balance from side to side was perfect, and the nose is about 2 inches higher than the rear, so am happy with that, got a chanc to use the Bininis, and am really impressed, so were the people at the dock. And then put the minnkota in, and was surprised it ran 5mph on 10 speed, at trolling speed of 1.5 mph, I was on 3 on the speed, so the 3 batteries should last  about 12 hours when trolling, so am really happy with the Minnkota, got to run top speed and it did 24 mph by GPS, but was turning only 5000 rpm, I am going to try a few different props next weekend and see if I can get 5500, below are a few pics with the tops up and cruising. thanks for reading all this, I am pleased the way it all turned out,Tim

Did you do anything with motor height? I can't tell from any of your pics and don't see anything in the comments about that. Might be a good thing to do before buying a different prop is to make sure your motor height is optimized. Moving it up a hole or two in height on the transom could get you the rpms that your motor should be at. Just my $.02.

Where were you going to get the new controller? I have a 1991 24DL and have a feeling I'll need a new setup since I'm having trouble getting the old throttle unit out of the console...
