Bought this 1990 Sweetwater with a 94 Suzuki and been having fun with it but now it's time to fix her up....

Made the mistake of going into Bass Pro and I saw my inspiration

So I decided to paint the toons along with the rails and skins....

First the prep then the metal primer "black"

Waiting for vinyl, stripes and graphics....hope that's not too many pictures

I've ordered the console from PS along with a lot of other stuff
My question is I'm thinking of ordering PS wiring harness and also want to get new gauges and switches...any suggestions as to make it easier to wire ?

Well I've received a lot of stuff from PS.. but my back has gone out on me so no progress on the pontoon

I do have a question on the wiring harness..what is the difference between the PS. harness and this onehttp://www.ezacdc.com/boat-wiring-products/boat-wiring-harness/ ??

So far very happy with PS ! Every thing that I've received from them seems top notch....even the console....

Hope to be up and around soon and will have pictures

I couldn't tell you but the concept is pretty cool.  I'm not crazy about those butt connectors they have the connector pictures though. :-/

Sorry to hear about the back, feel better soon!  I'm anxiously awaiting to see how this project turns out!
Thanks!

I started to run the trolling motor wire and noticed two burn spots on the wire...so I want to replace it with heavier gauge wire...I have about 18' run from battery to trolling motor...what size gauge should I be looking at ?...

Thanks ! I just wasn't sure....I was even thinking I needed 6 gauge but that would be a bit of over kill and quite a bit more $$$...lol

Ok.. a little up date...built a storage box, got the idea from another build here on the forum ..
Had leftover vinyl so used it to wrap it to look more custom...it will hold the batteries, fuel tanks and one more bay for miscellaneous storage.
Also did more wiring for ariator pumps up front...New wiring kit for the trolling motor...
Closed off the area at the motor...Will have two fishing seats at Stern end and up at the bow

Had a little time to work on the boat...applied the burgundy stripes though they look more red than burgundy :donno but it looks ok..went with two burgundy instead of one burgundy and one tan...the tan just didn't go with the back ground color..
If I was to do it again I would spray the stripes on...received the new seat bases so that's next to install...slowly but surely

Almost there
Installed seat bases...console seat...which I forgot to take a picture of    and was going to use industrial Velcro for the console door then I came up with what I think is a better plan...magnets ! And I installed the new SS cleats that "curtiscapk" sent me Free of charge!

Ok a little update...she's 99 % done just waiting for the upholstery girl to finish my seat for the swing back then ready for the water !... think I started this around July....seems longer...really happy the way it came out..we want to use it for awhile then will add a table and more seats ??? Just not sure about placement....
I have a hopefully small problem..when I set the boat back on the trailer the bunk on one side of pontoon doesn't cradle the toon right..I did replace a rotten bunk on that side but made sure it was lined up as before...it's like the width of the pontoons shrank ? Tried to show it in the pictures .... I'm hoping once I get the trailer unloaded and then loaded back up with the boat things fall back into place

I used 4 sheets ...I found 3 sheets on Craig's list for $150 and had to pay full price at Lowe's $113....it's tough stuff and very light weight...

I still need a bimini top but that will be after Christmas...Will take pictures when we take her out on the water...hope it still floats
